This is a target shoot with muzzle-loading rifles. Black powder pistols or revolvers may be used, but must compete with the rifles. Loading is done from a bench; cap or prime only on the firing line. Targets are paper, clay, and metal. Three sets of targets are placed at ranges varying between 15 yards and 110 yards. Each participant will begin shooting at an assigned set of targets, and then rotate to each of the other sets of targets. The rotations will continue such that each participant shoots each set of targets three times. Thus a total of 9 targets will be shot. Each participant will take a maximum of 2 shots at each of the 9 targets. Two points are scored if the target is hit with the first shot. Thus the maximum score is 18. One point is scored if the target is hit with the second shot.
Who: Open to the public.
When: Third Sunday of every month, 1 PM to 5 PM. October 2020 shoot will be a Black Powder Annual Pistol Shoot.
Cost: Non-Members $20 Daily Membership Fee
