We are going to start the LGRGC RSO / Shootmaster Refresher training next week. Due to physical location challenges these refreshers will be held remotely via Zoom. I have links for the first two meetings listed below more will be added as needed.

As always we will start with introductions all the way around, then we will go over my predetermined talking points and get your input/feedback on them. After that the floor will be open for any questions, comments or concerns you may have.

We do have a couple of serious topics that will be on our list, this will give you a little time to think about them:

- SIG P320, with all the issues they have been having with uncommanded discharges should we ban them from our range? We will be discussing options before changing the policy.
- Rifles in the Pistol Pit - We have had numerous incidents where the RSO did not prevent the shooter from violating SOP policies and damaging club property, do we have to ban rifles from being used anywhere except the rifle range?
- RSOs / Shootmasters not fulfilling their duties - we will be discussing the way ahead for RSOs and Shootmasters who do not manage their ranges properly while on duty (allowing people to violate club policies, not ensuring rounds will impact backstop, not maintaining steel targets, not cleaning up at the end of their shift, etc.) This is a topic you want to be involved in.

There are several other items that need to be discussed, but those are some of the big ones.
