Youth Trap Shooting Program

This program is open to youth ages10–17, as well as 18-year-olds who are still in high school, to come out and shoot up to three games of trap.

Participants will receive coaching, ammunition, and the use of a club shotgun if they do not have one of their own. Whether you’re brand new to trap shooting or looking to improve your skills, come join us and have fun!

Who

Open to the public!

• Juniors ages 10–17, or 18 if still in high school

• All youth participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

• New shooters must pre-register (see below)

• Shooters must be able to safely handle a shotgun weighing approximately 6 pounds.

When

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday

• 11:30 AM–12:00 PM: Sign-in
  No sign-ins will be accepted after 12:00 PM.

• 12:00 PM: Mandatory safety meeting

• 12:30–4:00 PM: Trap shooting

IMPORTANT SAFETY REQUIREMENT

All participants must attend the FULL safety meeting in order to shoot. No exceptions. Participants who arrive late or miss any portion of the safety meeting will NOT be permitted to shoot.

Cost

$20 per participant

Everything you need is provided, including ammunition and a club shotgun if needed. Any unused ammunition must be returned to the office.

What to Expect

• 1-on-1 mentorship for beginners

• Coaching for intermediate and advanced shooters

• Up to three games of trap

• A fun, supportive environment to learn and improve

You are welcome to bring your own 12-gauge and/or 20-gauge shotgun.
