NRA BASICS OF PERSONAL PROTECTION INSIDE THE HOME INSTRUCTOR COURSE IS A PRE-REQUISITE TO ATTEND

Cost $400, $600 for non-members, covers both the PPOTH and PPOTH Instructor courses and all related books and materials.

The day of class you need to bring:
DO NOT BRING ANY LIVE AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM! 

1. Pen/Pencil to write with. Highlighters are a good idea but not required.

2. Lunch/Snacks/Non-alcoholic beverages to get you through the full
day. We will have a working lunch, no time to leave the range. We will be in the classroom until approximately 7 PM, so plan accordingly.

3. Eye and ear protection.

4. Range appropriate attire (baseball cap/crew collar shirt (no plunging necklines), closed toe shoes)

5. Clothing appropriate for the weather that day.

6. A centerfire pistol 9mm or larger, or a revolver .38 caliber or above (no restriction on optics) and 300 rounds for the class. DO NOT BRING ANY LIVE AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM!

7. Holster, Magazine pouches, 3-5 magazines / speed loaders (arrive at class with all but one loaded), sturdy belt.

8. Most important A GOOD ATTITUDE FOR LEARNING. An inquisitive mindset is a positive thing.

9. $400 for members Cash, check or send via Zelle. ($600 for non-club members or prospective members)

10. A laptop computer.

11. A 3 ring binder. It can be the same one you used for PPITH.
